It is our pleasure to invite you to join us as a celebrity dancer in our 10th Anniversary fundraising event Dancing Stars of St. Johns County™. The show is scheduled for June 29, 2024, located at Flagler College Lewis Auditorium in St. Augustine. The lobby opens at 5:00 p.m. with concessions, silent auction, student performances, photo station, and more. A slideshow begins in the auditorium at 6:00 p.m. with the Celebrity Dancer Competition at 6:30 p.m. followed by a professional show with world champion Arthur Murray dancers. Tickets and sponsorships will be available on-line in April, 2024.

Arthur Murray St. Augustine and Arthur Murray Jacksonville will provide dance instruction. Each celebrity  dancer will be assigned a professional instructor to choreograph, select music, and teach a dance to be performed at the event. Dancers will learn their dance, perform at the event, and use their social and professional networks to fundraise through votes (donations), ticket sales, and sponsorships. There are two judging categories: The Judges’ Choice (determined at the event by the local celebrity panel of judges) and the People’s Choice (determined by the number of votes/dollars raised by each dancer).

Revenue from the event will result from four potential sources: Ticket sales, People’s Choice voting, sponsorships, and lobby activities. Proceeds will benefit St. Augustine Community School of Performing Arts (SACSPA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit, which provides performing arts instruction to our local children in need and to the elderly. Over the years, individuals of all ages and backgrounds have been served through free music programs and impacted by concerts, summer camps, and private instruction. Your participation in Dancing Stars of St. Johns County™ will help make a positive difference in the lives of many in our community.
